Sometimes, I feel like I need to learn rules in fashion and how to apply them to my wardrobe. I've been reading about color, finding my best colors, body types and so on. I don't always follow them, but when I feel like I don't like my own made items it's time to dig deeper and get to know why.   This time I happened upon the rule of thirds. I know it from photography and from architecture, but I somehow missed the connection with outfits. Of course it works! I went through the samples, read several blog posts (there are many out there if you just google rule of thirds in fashion).    I'm still applying it to my wardrobe in the future, but I looked at my previous sewn and shown on IG outfits. I put thirds gridline on them and finally found out why my two most loved items this year didn't look great on my photo. It's been really quiet here on my blog for several years. I guess I didn't have enough time or motivation to post, then I changed things and didn't like how my blog looked anymore. I tried to make it better again, but I think I just needed the time away. Also posting to Instagram is easier and quicker.  So, what changed now? I think I need a bit more my own scene where I can post. I found a neutral background for the blog and we'll see if I keep posting or not.With all that, let's get to the good stuff: items I made in 2022 that are my most worn and/or favourite pieces.  First up is Itch to Stitch Sibiu top. It's in the wash right now and by now is only suitable to wear at home as it's lost its color and has some pilling, but it's so soft and warm.
